Lee Bortell joined the KOOL air staff in the summer of 2000 with 20+ years experience in radio and television broadcasting. His on-air presentation is smooth, warm and energetic.

Prior to 94.5 KOOL-FM, Lee served as Program Director for Drake/Chenault Satellite Network in charge of 230 affiliated stations.  He has worked on-air with some of the top stations in America:  KNIX/KCW in Phoenix, KYGO in Denver and KXKL-KOOL 105 in Denver.

More than just radio, Lee has an extensive background in marketing design and project development.  He has over ten years as a senior writer/producer of video and CD Rom projects; including, medical and industrial clients.
